A quick blend-up for breakfast! I still have half a container of Natural Delights Medjool dates in the fridge, and smoothies are my favourite way to incorporate them into meals. Tomorrow’s is already blended and jarred up, ready to go. This way I can still roll out of bed at the last second and spend my morning subway commute slowly waking up… breakfast in hand.
Blended Date Breakfast Smoothie: yields 2 small portions, or 1 jumbo
(Note*** this date smoothie is different from my last one, as it isn’t protein packed for after-gym refuel. A lighter version.)
1/4 large apple
10 small medjool dates
1/2 banana
3/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup plain yogurt
4 ice cubes
pinch cinnamon
1/8 tsp vanilla
-Place all ingredients into blender, and blend until smooth.
Enjoy!
My white diffuser studio umbrella showed up too, so I’m excited to be shooting in the evenings now! Nice even diffused light, it’s making things much easier already. I should really just go to sleep already.
